Special Interests - Our church is located in Northwestern Lagrange County. It is home to the second largest Amish settlement in America. There are many things to do in "Shipshe" and one of special interest to bicycle enthusiasts is the Pumpkin Vine nature trail which is adjacent to our church property. It is absolutely beautiful to walk or bike. Shipshewana is also home to Indiana's largest flee market and attracts well over 1.5 million people annually. For the antique hunter there are several haunts with hundreds of thousands of yesterdays treasures. There are of course many, many shops and quaint little places to see. The Pumpkin Vine Cafe on Morton Street is a great place to relax and have a wonderful meal with a slice of homemade cheesecake along with your favorite coffee selection. For those interested "Chief Shipshewana" is buried just a 1/4 mile north of our church building. Shipshe is not just a place to visit, but a place to explore ! Because of the tourists that come to Shipshe from all over the world, our church has had visitors from many states and foreign countries as well. We look forward to meeting you !
