What We Believe

Our Beliefs

Summary of What We Believe...click below for full doctrinal statement.

A. That God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost are three in one. That God is Eternal and Sovereign.

B. That Jesus Christ is sinless, virgin born and eternally existent with the Father and Holy Ghost. That He was all man and at the same time all God. That He possessed both human and Divine natures. We believe in the eternal son-ship of Christ.

C. That Salvation is a free gift bestowed upon all who by faith repent of sin and put their faith in the finished work of Christ upon the cross.

D. That the Holy Ghost is absolutely necessary in bringing about the results of conviction and repentance. That He indwells and empowers every believer for service, worship and victorious Christian living.

E. That the scriptures are given by Divine inspiration, then providentially preserved for us in the 1611 King James Bible. Thus they are wholly without error and are the final authority for all matters of faith and practice.

F. That the Rapture of all Saints and the Holy Spirit being taken out of the way, will enable the rise of the anti-christ "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:" (II Thessalonians 2:7) The Holy Ghost is the Divine Being who is restraining the end time program of Satan. Most likely in the very near future, at the sole discretion of the Lord, the Holy Ghost will be taken out of the way, taking all believers with Him - ( the rapture) This will allow the anti-christ to be revealed to the world. Sometime after, the anti-christ will rise to power and will "work marvelously" including his ability to broker a 7 year peace treaty with Israel. (Daniel 9:27) This will mark the beginning of the Tribulation period. At the close of which, Jesus Christ will return visibly, bodily and in great power to put down all powers that He might be the blessed and only Potentate. He will set up His kingdom and reign for 1000 years and reward those who lived for and served Him.

G. That the New Testament Church is always a local visible assembly of born again, scripturally baptized believers, organized for the purpose of fulfilling the great commission. Her head is Christ. Her charter is the Bible, and her character is spiritual not carnal or political. There are only two offices: Pastor and Deacon. There are only two ordinances; Baptism to be performed by the authority of a scriptural New Testament church and the Lord's Supper partaken by the members of our church. ( Closed Communion ) Jesus Christ established the very first church while He walked this earth and gave to this church authority to carry on all functions of the ministry including the training and equipping of the saints so that the work of the ministry will continue. This church was then empowered with the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost. We reject the universal invisible concept of the church because it has no scriptural basis and furthermore it has, and continues to aid the ecumenical movement of which the antichrist will use for his agenda.

We are unashamedly Baptist by conviction and will by God's grace continue to stand against all ecumenical compromise such as the new evangelical movement, the emergent church movement, the charismatic movement, non-denominationalism and interdenominationalism, and last but certainly not least; the fundamentalist movement. We believe that strength comes from adhering to Bible Doctrine not denying it for the sake of getting along with those who feel the need to compromise doctrine. We believe in "Truth at all costs" not "Unity at all costs" The latter has already cost more than our generation can afford. We are fundamental in our position but in no way do we support the fundamentalist movement which has it's roots in Protestantism.

In addition to these errors we recognize that many bearing the name Baptist also hold to errors and schismatic practices. We therefore adamantly oppose heretical Baptists who pervert the gospel of Christ by either denying the doctrine of repentance or redefine it to mean any thing other than a work of grace wrought by the Holy Ghost. We worship no man but the "Man Christ Jesus" and abhor the practice among many who "think more highly of themselves" than they ought to. We do not give Baptists a pass on their name alone. It is right doctrine and right practice that enabled our generation to receive a pure gospel. We hold to the historical Baptist beliefs and principles that have for 2000 years not only distinguished us from all other religious entities, but have as well made us the object of their disdain.

H. We believe in the sanctity of marriage. All sexual encounters outside of the marriage relationship (including homosexuality and pornography) are sinful. Marriage is to be between a man and a woman only.
