Nursery Care

"Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." ~ Matt 19:14

We have a fully trained nursery staff ( they are the mothers of our church) Our nursery is clean, spacious and in close proximity to the auditorium. You may rest assured we will provide the best care for those left in our care while you worship with us.

Children's Ministry

"But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
~ Matt 19:14

We have Sunday School classes for all ages. There are visuals and exciting Bible stories. Even the very young children are able to understand Bible truths as they are made applicable to their age. Children are involved in memorization of scriptures and systematically taught the Bible at their level in a three year rotating program.

Jr. Church

"Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers."
~ 1 Tim 4:12

Children's church meets at the same time on Sunday morning as the adults. There is singing, a practical bible lesson on their level, puppet shows that provides a great visual to aid in teaching, scripture memorization and class participation. Our husband and wife children's church team, Dana and Lisa Weegens will challenge, nurture, help and encourage your children as you strive to lead them in the path they should take. They are also encouraged to pray for each other as well as our church and it's ministries.

Family Night

The third Friday of each month is Family Night. This is just a time of relaxation, games, food and fellowship, in our gym where our families are able to be together with their children in a Christian atmosphere and be strengthened in their relationships.

Tract Ministry

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
~ Mark 16:15

Once a month people from our church get together and mail out tracts to fill orders to those individuals and churches that request them. These tracts are printed by the Fellowship Tract League in Lebanon, OH. We have a three ring notebook of testimonies sent in by people who have read these tracts and been saved as a result.

Nursing Home Ministry

"With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding."
~ Job 12:12

Members of our church minister every Sunday at 3:00 PM and the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at LifeCare Nursing Home in in Lagrange, IN. We also hold services every other Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM at Miller's Merry Manor nursing home, also in Lagrange. Residents enjoy a time of singing, prayer requests, a great Bible message and an evangelistic challenge.

Weekly Soul Winning

"For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward."
~ Mark 9:41

Each week we meet for prayer and then seek to do the Lord's will in taking the gospel to the people in our community.

Discipleship Class

"And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit..."
~ Mark 4:20

Believing that making disciples is just as much a part of the "Great Commission" as winning the lost, our church has a discipleship program that consists of 16 basic themes. This is a one on one time with the disciple where these truths can be taught as well as afford the new believer the opportunity to discuss these themes and other questions that naturally arise with any new Christian.

Who will win the next generation if converts are not equipped to do so? The great apostle Paul laid out the blueprint for this concept in 2 Timothy 2:2. "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." This ministry literally affords every member the opportunity to be involved in the ministry of the Word of God in the lives of others, which is really the New Testament template. Part of being a disciple is being a discipler of others.

World Missions

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
~ Matthew 28:19

The purpose of world missions is to spread a passion for the supremacy of God into people groups where there is no indigenous, evangelizing church.

Crossroads Baptist Church still believes that the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19 is not only still relevant today, but it is still our top priority.
